Salary: $91,353.6 - 91,353.6 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.
• At least one year of CAD experience; proficiency in PTC Creo is preferred.
• Obtain FAA Part 107 certification within three months of starting employment.
• Experience with UAS platforms is preferred.
• Experience with Pixhawk autopilots, including PX4 and ArduPilot.
• Experience with MAVLink is preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret requirements independently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work constructively as part of a team and a high level of motivation.
• Experience facilitating documentation change management between engineering and production teams, or ability to support this work.
• Ability to serve as a point of contact between our engineering teams and technology partners, help establish product improvement and sustainment criteria, and develop subject-matter expertise in our sensors and hardware.

• Design mechanical components for our sensors and hardware.
• Plan and execute sensor and hardware integrations for new UAS platforms, and maintain existing integrations.
• Conduct UAS flight testing.
• Design, fabricate, and document wire harnesses.
• Create and maintain internal engineering, production, and user-facing product documentation.
• Provide Level 2 engineering support.
• Test hardware and software compatibility across our sensors, UAS platforms, and third-party post-processing software.
• Create and maintain engineering drawings and bills of materials.
• Support integration schedule planning and execution, mechanical design, and hardware product validation and testing.

We are hiring a Hardware Systems Engineer to integrate Sentera sensors and hardware onto unmanned aerial system (UAS) platforms. The role supports our engineering and production teams and involves collaboration with technology partners. The typical U.S. base pay is $43.92 per hour; this non-exempt role is eligible for overtime at 1.5 times the base rate for hours over 40 per workweek, or as required by applicable law.
