Job Title: Forklift Driver

Job Description

We are seeking experienced and safety-focused Forklift Operators to support a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for safely moving materials, loading/unloading shipments, and supporting production flow within the facility.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down, stand-up, and/or reach forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload trucks, ensuring accurate inventory movement.
• Transport raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility.
• Perform inventory tracking using RF scanners or warehouse systems, if applicable.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment following 5S standards.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any issues.
• Support general warehouse or production tasks as needed.

Essential Skills

• 2 years of recent forklift operating experience (sit-down, stand-up, or reach truck preferred).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with RF scanners or WMS systems is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

The work environment is not climate controlled, requiring adaptability to varying temperatures. Employees are expected to maintain a clean and organized workspace.

This is a Contract position based out of Kansas City, KS.

The pay range for this position is $19.75 - $19.75/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
